So… where is Seacrest Wolf Preserve? If you picture wolves roaming Colorado, Montana, or Alaska, you’re thinking too logically. Seacrest Wolf Preserve is tucked away in the bumble-screw Florida panhandle —so far off the grid it feels like the Earth politely forgot about it. You get there by driving from Tallahassee toward Panama City, which somehow feels wrong the entire time. Owned by the Watkins family and operated as a nonprofit, Seacrest’s mission is to educate the public about wolf species and their critical role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem.
