Why We Can't Read Cool Books Anymore...
Good day to you!
I wanted to squeeze in one more blog in 2022 and I'll just start by mentioning one name...Mary Phagan. Ever heard of her? The name was vaguely familiar to me as a child, and it turns out my Great Aunt Mattie played this song on the piano when I came to visit as a child. Honestly, I don't think I ever paid attention to the lyrics, but I can still hear her sing the name "Mary Phagan":

Kinda creepy, no?
I would venture to say MOST people who were the product of public schoolling (like me) and who have been in the process of unlearning indoctrinations and all the lies we were told in this standardizing institution called public school (such as - Kennedy was assasinated by a random lone gunman - which has recently been proven to be a BIG lie by our government) - we never, ever heard of Mary Phagan, unless you had a cool great aunt give you piano lessons. What about the name Leo Max Frank? Ring a bell? These are names you should know in order to understand why so many books are banned in our country!

Let me start back in 1913. Thirteen year old Mary Phagan was on her way to a patriotic parade on Confederate Memorial Day all festively dressed and ready to have a good time. Before attending the events, she swung by her place of employment at The National Pencil Company in Atlanta, Georgia to pick up her paycheck from her boss, Leo Max Frank, a wealthy Jew. The paycheck was a whopping $1.20 (adjusted for inflation in 2022, it would be $36.09) for her child labor services. While at the factory that day (in the middle of the day - broad daylight outside), she was attacked, her panties ripped (more than likely an attempt to sexually abuse her), and she was eventually found dead and mutilated in the basement of the factory.

Initially and early into the investigation there were several suspects (pretty much anyone at the factory that day), but eventually the superintendent of the factory, Leo Max Frank was found guilty by a jury of his peers and sentenced to hang for Mary's brutal murder.
However, before Frank was to meet his death sentence, the outgoing Governor of Georgia commuted Frank's death sentence from death by hanging to life in prison (still acknowledging guilt but because he was Jewish, a lighter sentence was decided - and this was 30 years BEFORE the Holocaust). This was mostly as a result of the Jewish community sizably financing campaigns (and, because Frank belonged to a huge Jewish fraternal order). But, Mary Phagan's community was LIVID after hearing of the commuted sentence. They broke into the jail and dragged Frank out of his cell and lynched him outside.
The Jewish community was OUTRAGED. How could this happen? And, they demanded justice. One major outcome of the lynching was the formation of a non-profit called the Jewish Antidefamation League, or the ADL for short. This organization is responsible for banning A WHOLE LOT of books in this country. Why? Well, the narrative was, at the time, that BOTH the trial and the subsequent lynching were a result of antisemitic rhetoric.
Even today, Frank's innocence is still strongly advocated. President Biden even exclaimed Frank's innocence. But, is Frank's alleged innocence a result of actual FACTS or century-old Jewish propaganda? After the full blown investigation, it came down to two men who could have possibly brutally murdered Mary, and Frank was one of them. Frank had a reputation as well! It was said he was condescending, miserly, and sexist. He was a horrible person! So these things don’t make you a murderer, but it sure as shit doesn’t paint doesn’t paint anyone in a good light. So, let’s dive into the facts!
Here is a link to some of the facts presented at the trial and backed by eye witnesses: https://nationalvanguard.org/2013/04/100-reasons-proving-leo-frank-is-guilty/.
Now to the aftermath of this lynching: the OG cancel culture! Let's take a look at the list of books banned by the ADL: I bet you thought I'd be posting a link here but, JUST KIDDING! The ADL won't even reveal the exponentially longer than life list of books they banned from schools and bookstores! Hear me out! This is just a general rule of thumb: if a book is banned, you need to try to find to it and read it and decide for yourself why the ADL banned it! There’s one book on the list that I can’t even mention here, because the ADL would blacklist me from society.
Since 1913, there have been several critics question the organization's mantra "to fight antisemitism and all forms of bigotry," the legitimacy of the organization, and potential underlying motives, especially since the organization has since grown into a mega-powerhouse as one of the most powerful socio-political organizations weilding a lot of influential power in the USA and across the globe. Yet they only contribute to one political party of censorship.
