My little brother (actually he's a lot bigger than me at six feet, 245 lbs) has sustained a series of nose traumas his entire life. From a severe bike accident to getting punched in the face to wrestling in Army (Brazilian jiu-jitzu and combatives in Infantry) to a roller skating collision to an elbow to the face on the basketball court, his nose has seen a few blows (very nose-talgic memories).
He struggles with a deviated septum and sinusitis (any place that is hot, dark, and moist can be a breeding ground for bacteria and become a petri dish for infection) and other breathing problems and has become addicted to OTC nasal sprays just to breathe. He had the classic, puffy, purple "shiners" under his eyes. The struggle is real, especially in high altitudes. A lot of people like my brother usually resort to a series of nose surgeries (upwards of $8K each) with extremely long healing processes, bleeding, and intense pain (where people get introduced to addictive pain control medications)...that often times do little to alleviate the situation. Rhinoplasty is not an affordable option and since they cut, you could end up with infection and other complications. Don't forget how close the nose is to the brain.
Until now...
I present "The Cranial Facial Release!"
What is a CFR??
"Cranial Facial Release (CFR) is an advanced endo-nasal “balloon assisted” cranial adjusting technique that has been used quite successfully in the treatment of various respiratory, neurological and structural disorders. CFR is a drug and surgery-free technique and offer relief for common breathing issues such as snoring, difficulty breathing at night, allergies and congestion, and sinusitis."
My brother just underwent his second cranial facial release procedure in Denver, Colorado at the Denver Chiropractic, LLC. My brother encouraged the doctor to film it since his nose had so much trauma. The doctor filmed this procedure and put it on Instagram and it has over 6,000 views since yesterday! The first turbinate adjustment went so well, he stayed in Colorado longer than anticipated just to go back for a second adjustment! The right passageway rebounded slightly after the first procedure, which is to be expected - it was the more deviated one. So the doctor targeted that area until the nose cracked again. Instant relief! He's already planning his next trip back for another cranial release.
The first visit is a little more expensive due to a personalized consultation. Under $100! The second visit is more maintaining and hurts much less. Yes, there is pressure and pain at first, but it gets better as the free spaces and tidal volume and flow improves.
Here is a video of the procedure:

He highly recommends this procedure to anyone who has had nose trauma and/or struggles to breathe! Some people are just born with anatomical deformities which affects breathing.
"It's life changing...I mean we're talking immediate relief," says my little brother. The Doctor is Dr. Trent Artichoker, MS, DS and he can be found at:
